Since graduating from HSDM in 2022 and completing my GPR at the Northport VA in 2023, I have been practicing as a full time general dentist providing comprehensive care.To provide the best possible care for my patients without any corporate influence, I am looking to buy a practice from a doctor who serves their patients compassionately.I made this website to share more about who I am, what my values are, and how you can get in touch if you think we might be a good fit for each other.
About MeI was born in Brooklyn, NY and grew up on Long Island — my family is from Odessa, Ukraine and immigrated here to escape the Soviet Union. I love hiking, reading, cooking, and I'm also a budding CE junky (my goal is to recieve my FAGD within 5 years of my graduation date).
I am the oldest of three brothers, and am very close with my family. My partner Catherine is the love of my life and we have been together for the last seven and a half years. She's graduating from her PhD program in Computational Astrophysics this year (she's the smart one) and will be working at MIT Lincoln Labs in the fall in Lexington.
I attended Stony Brook University for undergrad, graduating Summa Cum Laude, then HSDM where I dove into my passion for organized dentistry and practice management by becoming ASDA president and starting the business club. I am currently practicing as a full time general dentist in Keene, NH, and am a member of the local Seattle Study Club.
My ValuesFrom my time as a dentist so far, I've learned that service is what brings the most meaning to me in my professional life. Some of my most fulfilling experiences have been helping operate a student run pediatric dental clinic in dental school, treating veterans with severe anxiety and PTSD in residency, and helping emergency patients who haven't been to the dentist in their adult lives get out of pain and establish regular care to stabilize their oral health.
I always strive to be better tomorrow than I am today. Clinically, I chose to push my skills forward by becoming an AGD member in dental school and pursuing a challenging VA residency. In residency, I was fortunate to improve my skills at complex treatment planning, surgery, and endodontics in particular. After leaving my GPR, I have tried hard to keep learning as much as I can. Right now I am partway through an implant continuum. In the next few months I am taking courses and expanding my knowledge in molar endodontics as well as honing my surgery skills while starting to learn about impacted 3rds. One gap in my CE so far has been comprehensive occlusion courses, which I plan to pursue next year. I have also always been interested in business and practice management, and have been taking courses on the subject since dental school.
One of our profession's most important traits is our ability to band together and make our voices heard. From my time at Beacon Hill Day and Lobby Day, the saying "If you're not on the table then you're on the menu" came up often, and I firmly believe that's a fact. A large part of why we can do this well while the medical profession has lost most of its lobbying power is the continuing survival of private practice, which unfortunately is now being threatened by PE and DSOs pouring money into buying up practices. I want to be part of keeping private practice alive and well.
Since even before dental school, my goal has been to be a practice owner. There is no better way to guarantee serving the patients in my community for my entire career, set the standards for clinical excellence, and have the flexibility to both work hard and spend time with family. Dentistry is one of the last areas of healthcare where this is still possible and attainable, despite the market forces that aim to make us look more like Medicine. I would love the opportunity to sit down with you and learn more about your experience and the practice you've built, and it would be a privilege to continue your legacy if you feel I would be the right fit.
